About Us
We are two dreamers, Jack McDonald and Karen Zamaria who are passionate about the Stratford Shakespeare Festival and the theatre, as well as art, dance, literature, music, opera, travelling, good food & wine, health and healing and Paris!
In 1987 we moved from Toronto to 66 Bay Street, Stratford and created Acrylic Dreams later re-named
A B & B on Bay on Bay, Acrylic Dreams.
Both of us have several years experience in the restaurant and catering industry.
Karen was also a flight attendant. Jack is the resident artist.
For many years we were Activity Directors at Rancho Rio Caliente in Guadalajara Mexico for a few months every winter where we taught Yoga and Tai chi lead hikes in the mountains and forests and Jack lead a very popular pool class in the thermal waters.
We both graduated with honours from the Yoga Instructors program at Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario in 1991.
Karen has been a practicing Certified Reflexologist since 1997 and the recipient of the Stratford Gazette's Reader's Choice Award for Best Reflexologist.
In 2007 we both became Certified Chair Massage Instructors from the Toronto based Relax to the Max Chair Massage School.
